Malkangiri remains Hottest Place in Odisha

imageFor the second consecutive day yesterday, Malkangiri remained the hottest place in Odisha at 40 degrees Celsius. The mercury level had gone up to 41 degrees C in the town on Monday. Sonepur, which record 40.4 degrees C on Monday, witnessed a fall at 39 degrees on Tuesday.

Balangir too recorded 39 degrees C, while capital city Bhubaneswar reported the highest temperature of 37.9 degrees Celsius. Sambalpur (38.6), Hirakud (38.5) and Angul (39.1) were the other hotter places of Odisha on Tuesday.

There could be a fall in temperature level across the state between March 25 and 28, as several places will witness rainfall.
