NABARD organises 2nd Mango Festival in Bhubaneswar

A State-level Mango Festival-cum-Exhibition,organised by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), began in Bhubaneswar on Friday.

Governor of Odisha Prof Ganeshi Lal inaugurated the second edition of the mango festival. The seven day long festival, which will continue till June 14, would open from 11 am to 8 pm every day.

Under the ‘WADI’ (orchard) project, the NABARD has organised the festival to provide an opportunity to the tribal farmers to exhibit and sell their farm produce and interact with senior government functionaries and bankers.

Huge varieties of mangoes grown in different parts by the tribal farmers across the State would be displayed in the festival-cum-exhibition.
