Nagaland BJP alleges involvement of Odisha Governor Jamir in Polls

ONI Bureau: The Nagaland unit of BJP today alleged that Governor of Odisha Dr. S C Jamir is taking part in election campaigns in favour of Congress and Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) candidates in his native state.

The BJP petitioned the Chief Electoral Officer alleging that the Governor should uphold the integrity and respect of the Governor office and not to involve himself in electioneering process.

It is to be noted that Governor of Odisha SC Jamir is stationed in Mokokchung Town and campaigning in ensuing state assembly election 2018.
