‘No Helmet-No Fuel’ rule in Cuttack from July 1

To make use of helmet mandatory “No Helmet, No Fuel” rule started in Cuttack from today.

The rule has been enforced in the city to minimise loss of life and property in road mishaps.

Violation of traffic rules causes rise in number of accidents.  So, no motorists without helmet will be allowed to fill petrol in their vehicle from today.

Police will move into position at all petrol pumps to check whether the rule is being implemented properly or not.

The commissionerate police has convened a special meeting on 13th June with all the petrol pump owners asking them not to sell petrol to any motorists not wearing helmets.
