Odisha CM orders Crime Branch probe into Parcel Bomb Case

ONI Bureau:  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday ordered a Crime Branch probe into the Patnagarh parcel bomb explosion in which a techie Soumya Sekhar and his grandmother were killed in Balangir district on February 23.

As per report, Crime Branch constituted a 4-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) and Additional SP to lead the SIT team.

A day after Soumya Sekhar Sahu’s wife Reema, who survived the blast and is undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, made an appeal for justice to Odisha CM. Her family members also met the Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar earlier.
