Odisha CM writes to Nitin Gadkari over Water-Logging issue near ISKCON Temple

ONI Bureau: Expressing concern over water logging and flooding of service at lane of NH-16 near ISKCON Temple in Bhubaneswar, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday requested Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari to solve the matter.

In a letter to the Union Minister, Odisha CM said that the situation getting from bad to worse as NHAI is yet to construct a drain along the service lane as per Odisha’s earlier request.

The area is getting inundated during rains sometimes upto 3ft of water resulting in severe disruption of road traffic and damages to parked vehicles, the letter said.
