Odisha Cop suspended for taking selfies inside Jagannath Temple

ONI Bureau:   Taking serious action against the Sub-Inspector of Sea Beach Police Station in Puri who had clicked selfies inside Srimandir and uploaded on Facebook on Monday, Puri Superintendent of Police Sarthak Sarangi suspended him for violating the rules after pictures went viral on Social Media.

Reportedly, the selfies of Sub-Inspector Dilip Panda, went viral as he posted the pictures offering ‘Pinda Daana’ on ‘Mahalaya’ on the ‘Baishipahacha’ today. Some of pictures were also taken near the “Patita Pabana” and Anand Bazaar.

Worth mentioning, cameras, mobile phones and other recording devices are not allowed inside the Jagannath temple.
