Odisha Government hikes Bus Fare as Fuel Price rises

The Odisha government on Wednesday increased the bus fare across all categories. The Commerce and Transport department has issued the notification regarding bus fare hike.

As per the notification, the fare for ordinary and express buses has been increased by 1 paisa per kilometer while Deluxe and AC Deluxe category buses has been increased by 2 paise per kilometre.

With this new rates, the fare of ordinary buses will now charge 60 paise per km from 59 paise. The fare of express buses has increased to 63 paise from 62 paise. The Deluxe category buses would charge 84paise per km.
