Odisha Govt Formulates Plan For Konark Heritage Development Project

After announcing the Puri Heritage Corridor project, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Thursday, announced the Konark Heritage Development Project.

At a meeting today, the Chief Minister was presented with a detailed plan about beautification of the Konark temple. The State Government has also given the public an option to voice their opinion on the project within 21 days.

As part of the Konark Heritage Development project, the government has planned to built a mega entry point in addition to a multi-level parking facility. The Konark open-air theater will be also be redesigned.
