Odisha Government is leaving no stones unturned to fight in the face of adversity.
Although the lockdown is maintaining the safety of people, it has impacted business and the most affected are the poor class.
The trade of street vendors have been most impacted and hence in yet another effort to provide facilities to people during the lockdown, the Odisha government has distributed funds to 2577 street vendors.
Rs 77,31,000 has been distributed, Rs 3000 per street vendor as cash assistance to 2577 street vendors in 14 Urban Local Bodies.
Around 65000 vendors will benefit from this initiative.
