Odisha man killed, body burnt over witchcraft suspicion

ONI Bureau: Superstition still deep rooted in our society as suspicion over practising sorcery, a man was beaten to death and his body was set on fire in Kandhamal district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Subhas Chandra Majhi of Badabanga village under Daringbadi police limits.

The incident came into light after a complaint was lodged by his wife Subhasini at the local police station.
