Odisha’s Jauna Murmu bags Gold at PTS Athletics Grand Prix

The Indian women 4x400m relay quartet of Jauna Murmu, Ashwini Akkunji, Anilda Thomas and M R Poovamma won a gold medal at the PTS Athletics Grand Prix with an impressive timing of 3:31.39.

With this, the Indian team has almost qualified for the Rio Olympic Games which is going to be held in August this year.

The Indian team needs to participate and win in regular basis and have to improve performances to remain in the top-16 to compete in Rio Olympic.
