If Officers control BJD, CM & Ministers Responsible: Niranjan

ONI Bureau: Senior Congress leader Niranjan Patnaik came to the rescue of CM’s Private Secretary VK Pandian, who has been under attack from several leaders for alleged interference in the party affairs.

Niranjan held the Chief Minister and Ministers responsible for any bureaucratic interference in the party affairs, not the officer concerned. “Why the CM and Ministers adopted a soft approach”, he asked.

Niranjan also said that the CM enjoys absolute power and he can reward and punish any officer. Officers are just government servants. They try their best to prove themselves. But, if leaders allow them to dominate or take control of the party, they should be blamed, not the officers, he added.
