Paradip Marine Police rescue six Fishermen; Trawler capsizes

Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: Paradip Marine Police have rescued all six fishermen at Paradip sea confluence where their fishing trawler capsized today morning. According to reports, a fishing trawler carrying six fishermen was returning to shore after fishing in deep sea. Due to heavy current in at the sea the trawler capsized at a distance of 500 meters from the sea-shore.

Marine police reached the spot on a machine boat despite heavy current and saved all the fishermen on board. The police officials said that due to heavy current in the sea it was quite challenging to reach to sport where the fisher trawler was capsized. Some other fellow fishermen were also joined with us in the rescue operation, they added.
