PM Modi sanctions Ex-gratia of Rs.2 Lakh each those killed in Sum Hospital Fire Mishap

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Wednesday sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh each to the next of kin of the persons deceased in the fire accident that occurred at the SUM hospital in Bhubaneswar.

PM Modi also sanctioned Rs.50,000/- each to the seriously injured persons from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

Earlier, The Prime Minister spoke to Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik about the distressing hospital fire tragedy and assured all possible support from the Centre to the injured.

PM also spoke to P&NG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, asked him to ensure all possible help to the affected. He also talk to Union Health Minister J P Nadda and asked him to facilitate transfer of all those injured to AIIMS.
