Politics not the only way to serve People: Baijayant Panda

ONI Bureau:  Though speculation is rife that the former Parliamentarian Baijayant Panda might join BJP, Panda today said that he hasn’t decided yet if he will join any party or start something new.

During his visit to Mahanga in Kendrapara to congratulate Sasmita Nayak, who saved a villager from drowning in the nearby river, Panda said to media persons, “Politics is not the only way to serve people but as I already entered into it, better to serve people within this field.”

He further stated that he wishes to serve not just Mahanga or Kendrapara but to the people of Odisha on the whole and will decide on this very soon.

Meantime, Senior State Minister Damodar Rout today slammed ruling BJD saying that Baijayant Panda was a part of Biju family and look where he is now and the same has happened with him too in the party.
