Prashanta, Soumya & Achyuta file nominations for Rajya Sabha Polls

ONI Bureau:  BJD candidates Prashanta Nanda, Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and Achyuta Samanta have filed nomination for Rajya Sabha polls in presence of Chief Minister & party supremo Naveen Patnaik at Odisha Legislative Assembly today.

The first nomination papers were filed by Prashant Nanda before Returning Officer Rajesh Prabhakar Patil following which Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and Achyuta Samanta have filed their nomination papers later.

As per the notification, the scrutiny of nominations is March 13 while that for withdrawal is March 15 and elections to three Rajya Sabha seats scheduled to be held on March 23.
