Ruchika Childline rescues 4-Year old Girl from a Locked Room

Bhubaneswar, Oct 13: In a shocking incident, a four year girl was rescued from a locked room of a house here on Monday by a NGO officials.

According to reports, the officials of Bhubaneswar-based NGO – Ruchika Chilline have rescued a four year old girl from a locked room at Kalarahanga under Mancheswar police station limits here. The house was locked from outside by the mother of the girl, who was rescued by the activists.

The owner of the house said that, the couple with the girl have been staying in the rented room for last one year. The girl’s father is out of town for last six months, who said to be gone for attending a training. The mother of the girl has been working  in  a private hospital here. And, she used to lock the child from outside while going to duty. The NGO officials told that the girl was in state of shock when she was rescued. Currently, the child is with the NGO officials and later she will be taken to Child Welfare Committee office.
