SJTA suspends servitor over sale of Prasad before being offered to Trinity

ONI Bureau:  Taking a strong action against violation of rules at Jagannath temple in Puri, the Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) suspended Gadadhar Dixit, a servitor of Suar Nijog on Wednesday.

It was alleged that Gadadhar had sold Mahaprasad at Anand Bazar before being offered to the deities as per rituals on January 4.

In this regard, earlier, Suar Nijog had suspended Dixit and lodged a complaint against him.
