Sunil Mishra takes Oath as Chief Information Commissioner of Odisha

Sunil Mishra on Thursday took oath as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Odisha.

Governor SC Jamir administered the oath to Mishra in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Raj Bhavan.

Mishra is the retired Director General of Income Tax in Karnataka and Goa. He succeeded former Chief Secretary Tarun Kanti Mishra. The post of CIC was vacant for last two years.
