Two bags of Tobacco seized in Balasore jail

A joint team of Balasore Police and district officials seized two bags of tobacco from the District Jail in Balasore.

The officials searched every corner of the jail and seized bidi, cigarette, gutkha packets, lighters and match boxes inside the jail.

According to the sources, the surprise raid began at about 2 AM today and continued till 4 AM. During the two-hour raid, police didn’t find any other valuable items as mobile phones, arms or cash.
