Union Tourism Ministry seeks UC of ‘PRASAD’ Scheme from Odisha Govt

The Ministry of Tourism sought utilisation certificate (UC) of Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spirituality Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) scheme from Odisha Government as the Central Government allocated Rs 10 crores to the State, before two years for the development of Puri, Ramchandi and Deuli under PRASAD Scheme.

The Tourism Ministry has already informed to the Odisha Tourism Department that the second phase of funds will be allocated by the centre only after the State submits the detail expenditure report.

Reportedly, the State Government had spent only Rs 1.5 crore out of total Rs 10 crore, received in the first phase.
