Updated Edition of Odia Encyclopedia ‘Gyana Mandala’ presented to Odisha CM

The complete edition of Odia Encyclopedia ‘Gyana Mandala’ was presented to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday. Mass Education Minister Devi Prasad Mishra and editor of Gyana Mandala Deepak Kanungo were present on the occasion.

Delighted to receive updated edition of Odia encyclopedia Gyana Mandal,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted yesterday.

The Odia Encyclopedia ‘Gyana Mandala’ was left half-done by the renowned Odia author and Padmashree Binod Kanungo.

Binod Kanungo is a freedom fighter, Gandhian, educator, social reformer and celebrated compiler of the Gyana Mandala, which is the greatest encyclopaedia in the Odia language.
