Union Govt trying to link Textile Sector with Tourism, says Santosh Gangwar

The Union Handlooms and Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda reached Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening.

They are scheduled to attend BJP ‘Vikash Utsav’ at Bargarh on Friday organised by the BJP to mark two  years of Modi led NDA government at the Centre.

On his visit to Odisha, Gangwar said to newsmen that the Centre has already provided Rs 10 crore to the Odisha government for development of ‘pattachitra’ paintings of Raghurajpur area.

The Centre is always ready to provide all forms of support to Odisha if the state government sends any proposal for textile parks, Santosh Gangwar added.
