New Zealand thrash Bangladesh, register 4th straight win in T20 WC

New Zealand remained unbeaten in group stage of ICC T20 World Cup, as they registered their 4th straight victory by beating Bangladesh by 75 runs. They have already qualified for the semifinals.

New Zealand posted 145/8 in 20 overs. Williamson was the top scorer at 42. Munro (35) and Taylor (28) were the other top contributors. Mustafizur took five wickets, while Al-Amin took two wickets.

In reply, Bangldesh batsmen failed miserably and bowled out for a paltry 70 in 15.4 overs. Shuvagata was the top scorer at 16. For New Zealand, Elliott and Ish Sodhi took three wickets each. Kane Williamson was declared ‘Man of the Match’. Bangladesh failed to win even a single match.
