Canada hold South Africa to 1-1 Draw in Hockey World Cup 2018

ONI Bureau: Canada and South African played the second draw of Hockey World Cup 2018 this evening, as both sides were levelled at 1-1 at the end of 4th quarter in a Pool C game at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

Nqubile Ntuli gave South African the lead in the 42nd minute of the match. But, Scott Tupper equalized in the 45th minute, making it 1-1. Despite trying best, both teams could not penetrate each other’s goal post and the match ended in a draw.

David Carter of Canada was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’.
