Sania Mirza wins Women’s Doubles Title at Wimbledon 2015

Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis beat Elena Vesnina and Ekaterina Makarova 5-7, 7-6, 7-5 to win Wimbledon Open Women’s Doubles Title.

This is Sania’s first Wimbledon title. She also became the first Indian woman to win a grand slam title in Women’s Doubles.

In 1998, Martina Hingis had won the Women’s Doubles title at Wimbledon. Five years later in 2003, Sania won the Junior Girl’s Doubled title. 12 years later, they’ve won it together.
