Mahanadi Bachao Andolan to stage Rail Roko in Odisha

ONI Bureau: The Mahanadi Bachao Andolan (MBA) has upped the ante on the issue of centre’s refusal to form a tribunal to resolve the Mahanadi water dispute, saying people of Odisha feel betrayed by such a decision.

The MBA will stage a rail roko across Odisha from 10 AM till 1 PM tomorrow, protesting the Centre’s decision, but confirmed that passengers trains won’t be affected.

Only goods trains will be blocked as part of the symbolic protest, says Mahanadi Bachao Andolan members.
