Naveen takes up Wagon Repair Factory issue with Suresh Prabhu

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik held meetings with Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in Bhubaneswar today and discussed various issues related to railway projects in Odisha.

Both Naveen and Prabhu agreed to form joint working committee to protect Odisha’s interests and monitor all projects. The monthly review meeting will ensure smooth functioning of railway projects in Odisha.

The Odisha CM took up he issue of shifting of the proposed Kalahandi (Narla) rail wagon repair factory to Vizag with Suresh Prabhu. The JWG will take a decision on the proposed rail wagon factory at Sitallapalli in Ganjam district and the wagon repair factory at Narla.

Both leaders discussed the fast tracking of various railway projects in the state, including railway link between Malkangiri and Nabarangpur districts.
