Odisha Government reduces Bus fare

The Odisha government has reduced bus fares for all categories of buses under automatic fare adjustment mechanism.

As per a notification issued by the Commerce and Transport department, the fare of ordinary and express buses have been slashed to 1 paisa per kilometre, and the fare for Deluxe and AC Deluxe buses have been reduced to 2 paisa per kilometre.

Fare of ordinary buses has come down to 60 paisa per kilometre from 61 paisa per kilometre while the fare for express buses has come down to 63 paise per kilometre from 64 paisa per kilometre.

At the same time the fare for deluxe buses has reduced to 84 paisa per km from 86 paisa per km and Ac Deluxe buses has reduced to 1.05 per km from Rs 1.07 per km.
