82.17% voters turnout recorded in Bijepur Bypoll

ONI Bureau:  An estimated 82.17% of voters on Saturday exercised their franchise in the by-election to the Bijepur Assembly seat in Bargarh district that passed off peacefully, however, voter turnout by-poll stood at 72% till 5 pm reportedly.

Worth mentioning that voting continued in several polling booths after 5 pm where people were already assembled in a queue to exercise their franchise.

Reportedly, the Bijepur Assembly by-poll had been recorded 80.29% in 2014.
