‘Olly’ official Mascot unveiled for Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018

ONI Bureau:  The Sports and Youth Services Department of the Odisha Government unveiled the official mascot of Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018 ‘Olly’ at Puri beach on Tuesday.

Olly is now all set to promote the event and entertain the massive crowds at the Kalinga Stadium as the 2018 Men’s Hockey World Cup will begin on November 28 in Bhubaneswar.

The mascot aims to promote the beautiful sport of hockey and raise awareness about the conservation of the Olive Ridley turtle, which is said to be on the border of extinction in Odisiha.
