Odisha Govt cancels Puja Holidays of Employees at Secretariat, Southern & Central Division

ONI Bureau:  Considering the impact of cyclonic storm Titli and consequent flood thereafter, Odisha Government cancelled puja holidays & all leaves for Employees at Secretariat, Central & Southern Division with immediate effect.

Govt have decided that all the offices in Central & Southern Division would remain open during the Puja vacation. All kinds of leaves sanctioned earlier stands cancelled till October 24, informed SRC Bishnupada Sethi.

All district collectors have been asked to remain alert and make arrangements to shift people in case of emergency.

The Chief Minister also asked the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) to submit a report on the assessment of the damage to the houses, crops and animal resources within seven days.
