AAP MLA Somnath Bharti remanded to 2-day Police Custody

Former Delhi Law Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Somnath Bharti has been remanded to two-day police custody after his bail plea was rejected in connection with domestic violence case. Bharti had surrendered last night after the Supreme Court refused to hear his bail plea unless he surrenders.

It would be interesting to see whether he is suspended or expelled from the party or not. Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has already dumped him, saying Bharti has become a big embarrassment for the party as well as his family.
