Traditional Odissi, Ikkat Sarees impress Mahima Chaudhry

Bhubaneswar, Sep 29: Bollywood actress Ms. Mahima Chaudhary visited Mehers’ Handloom Showroom at Bhubaneswar on Sunday during her recent Odisha visit. She was fascinated by Meher’s beautiful collections of creative hand-woven sarees and awesome designer Odissi and Ikkat sarees. Taking special interest in hand printed Odishi sarees as well as Sambalpuri Ikkat saree, she picked up four exclusive designer Ikkat sarees from the wide collections of traditional Tassar saree with tribal print, Sambalpuri Ikkat saree, Odishi Tasar saree at the showroom.

During her visit to Mehers’, she praised designs and exclusive collections of traditional designer hand printed sarees with Sambalpuri pattern and as well as Ikkat and Odissi Tassar sarees at the grand showroom at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She also applauded the Meher’s showroom staff, who took her through the selection of the sarees.

Mahima  expressed a great interest to buy traditional Odissi sarees citing  that it represents the true identity of an India woman and clicked many picture with odissi sarees.“I am very glad to visit this shop,” said the actress while writing “Superb Collection” in the visitors book at the showroom.
