New York Times regrets #SelfieWithDaughter Goof Up

In an article, “#SelfieWithDaughter Campaign launched by Indian Prime Minister Modi a Smash Hit”, the New York Times erroneously published Digvijaya Singh’s picture with Amrita Rai as ‘Proud Fathers with Daughters’. The NYT later took off the picture and expressed regret after realized the mistake.

NYT Statement: “Correction: an earlier tweet included in this article featured a satirical comment about an Indian politician seen in a photograph with his companion, not his daughter. We regret the error”.
