12-hr Auto & Taxi strike hits normal life in Odisha

ONI Bureau:  A 12-hour auto-rickshaw & taxi strike across Odisha by All Odisha Taxi and Auto-rickshaw Federation affected normal life in the state today as commuters faced difficulties in reaching their destinations conveniently.

Communication is badly affected as autorickshaws and taxi cars kept off the road from 6 a.m to 6 p.m today.

Reportedly, they staged a 12-hour dawn-to-dusk protest demanding social and financial security. Around 1.35 lakh auto-rickshaws and 10, 000 taxis have joined the protest.
