34 Odisha Sports persons under CBI scanner for forged age-proof

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an inquiry against 34 sportsmen of Odisha for allegedly manipulating their age records.

The inquiry has been initiated by its Sports Integrity Unit. 34 sportsmen of Odisha have manipulated their date of birth and submitted forged documents as age proofs to ensure selection in Cuttack-A and Cuttack-B teams for the under-19 district cricket tournament, 2016.

Officials of Cuttack District Athletic Association and Odisha Cricket Association are also under scanner.
