Angul Borewell Incident: JE suspended for dereliction of duty

ONI Bureau:  A Junior Engineer (JE) of Angul division Saroj Kumar Mohanty was suspended for dereliction of duty.

A day after the incident, in which a three-year-old minor girl fell into an open borewell at Gulasara village, the Angul lift irrigation executive engineer submitted probe report on the matter. In the report, the executive engineer has blamed the local junior engineer engaged in that work.
