Bhasha Andolan pays Homage to Utkal Gourab Madh Babu

The members of Bhasha Andolan on Thursday remembered Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das on the occasion of his 168th birth anniversary by paying floral tributes at his statue in Bhubaneswar.

Bhasha Andolan has recently called a clarion call to the state government and the people of the state to use Odia language as the official language at every level of governance in Odisha. It has been orchestrating a relay protest march from PMG square to Governor square of the state capital in every evening at 5.00pm from 13th April 2016 in order to press their demand.

Bhasha Andolan President Subhas Chandra Pattanayak, Eminent Journalist Pradyumna Satpathy, Editor of The News Insight Sagar Satapathy, Social Activist Tusarkant Satapathy, Pabitra Maharatha and other members joined in paying homage to the architect of Orissa province (now Odisha).
