Bhubaneswar Auto-rickshaw Mahasangha protests App-based Auto Service

The Bhubaneswar Autorickshaw Mahasangha on Thursday staged a protest march against app-based taxi services in the capital.

“Hundreds of auto rickshaw drivers are participating the protest march with their vehicles from Master Canteen Square to PMG Square demanding the closure of three online companies, which are providing App-based auto rickshaw services at cheaper price.

They demanded cancellation of the licenses of the online companies and to control app-based taxi services who are taking away their livelihood. They have submitted a memorandum to Police Commissioner.
