Biju Patnaik International Airport gets E-Visa facility

ONI Bureau:  In what is expected to be a major boost to tourism in Odisha, Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Odisha capital has been granted E-Visa facility.

The e-visa counter has started operating at the Airport from January 16.

In this regard, the Central Government has issued notification dated December 31, 2018.

Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar is the 27th Airport in the country having the E-Visa facility.

Now the travellers no longer need to come to the embassy or consulate of the destination country. The application for the visa will be completed online.
