BJP targets Odisha CM’s PRO over Gag on Media

ONI Bureau: The Odisha BJP has upped the ante and targeted Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s PRO Sukant Panda for the gag order issued to media covering Secretariat activities.

BJP’s State Vice President Samir Mohanty held a press meet and asked whether CM’s PRO is working as a security personnel of IAS Officer VK Pandian, who is also the Private Secretary of the CM. He also said that the same PRO had made objectionable statements against the PM, but no action was taken against him, probably under pressure from the Tamil officer of 3rd Floor.

The BJP leader condemned PRO Sukant Panda’s behaviour towards the journalists. It can be recalled that the Odisha Government had restricted the entry of media inside the Secretariat. Entry of Journalists without passes, have been prohibited.
