Champua MLA Sana Mahakud to float new Political Party

ONI Bureau: If ‘Sana Sena’ is not enough to pursue his political ambitions beyond Champua or Keonjhar, Independent MLA Sanatan Mahakud is all set to float a political party – Jana Samrudha Party.

Mahakud has already applied for the registration of the party with Election Commission of India under Section 29A of the Representation of the People’s Act, 1951.

The new party will function from its headquarters of Kasipur-Balarampur of Keonjhargarh. While Sanatan Mahakud remains the President, Saroj Sahoo will be the Executive President.

The party is planning to field candidates across all 147 constituencies of Odisha. Sana Mahakud is hopeful of creating a pressure group with his new outfit.
