Chit Fund Scam: Astha Properties to be auctioned Today

The seized properties of Astha Group of Companies, a chit fund company, will be auctioned today.

The auctioned land belonging to the chit fund company is located under Chattrapur and Chilika tehsils.

The initial price of the land measuring 3 acres and 537 decimals owned by the Ponzi firm has been set at Rs 1.42 crore.

The chit fund company has opened several branches in various places like Bhubaneswar, Balugan, Berhampur, Keonjhar, Rourkela and Balasore.

According to CBI report, the company has deceived near about 10,000 investors in Odisha.
