Cold wave intensifies in Odisha; Daringbadi coldest at 3.5 degree C

ONI Bureau: Cold wave conditions intensified in Odisha as the mercury dropped to 3.5 degrees celsius at Daringibadi in Kandhamal district today, making it the coldest place in the State now.

Normal life disrupting in ten towns in Odisha as temperatures recorded below 10 degree celsius and cold wave conditions were likely to continue for the next 24 hours as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

While the minimum temperature plummeted to 4 degree at Phulbani, it was 8.1 in Hirakud, 8.5 at Bhawanipatna and 8.5 degrees at Sundergarh district.

Similarly, Jharsuguda recorded temperature of 8.8 degree Celsius, Bolangir  9 degrees, 9 degrees at Angul and 9.6 degrees Celsius in Koraput.
