Doctor slits own throat after Patient’s death in Bargarh dist

ONI Bureau:  A Doctor attempted to commit suicide by slitting his own throat after a woman patient, whom he had administered became critical & died while undergoing treatment at Bargarh hospital on Tuesday.

The doctor identified as Subodh Sahu had administered an injection for tooth pain at his clinic in Bandutikra area in Bargarh district, following which her condition became critical. Later she was admitted to the Bargarh district headquarters hospital.

The doctor rushed to VSSUT Hospital in Burla for treatment.
