Elderly, Pregnant Women & Health Workers To Get Priority For COVID19 Vaccination: CM Naveen Patnaik

Pregnant women, people over the age of 60 years and health workers will be given priority for COVID19 vaccination. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed the decision after his weekly review meeting.

He emphasized on the need to develop a professional and scientific method for providing COVID19 vaccination to the vulnerable sections. He also said that the database of patients with serious illness will be prepared.

“We need to continue to be vigilant as the second flow of COVID has begun in US, European countries and in New Delhi,” he said.

The administration has been directed to pay special attention so that the livelihoods of the people are not disrupted.
