AT Group Link: DSP Pramod Panda Arrested

The CBI got another big fish in the AT Group chit fund scam, as it arrested former Crime Branch DSP Pramod Panda, who is currently posted as the DSP in Nayagarh DIB. Panda was taken into custody after being interrogated for the third time.

Pramod Panda has been charged of criminal conspiracy and showing undue favor to AT Group chief Pradeep Sethy and his company while threatening the investors who dared to raise their voice against the chit fund firm.

Panda had very good rapport with Pradeep Sethy and got funds and support from him to run his wife’s computer training centre in Bhubaneswar. His house was raided by the CBI on September 29, leading to seizure of sensitive and important materials.
