Heavy rain in Odisha; Khurda Dist Admin orders closure of Educational Institutions

INS Bureau:  Khurda district administration on Tuesday ordered closure of all educational institutions in view of incessant rain & Transport Strike across the State.

Several parts of the Khorda, Cuttack and Puri districts witnessed road damage, normal life came to a standstill in many parts of Odisha due to continuous rain since last 24 hours.

The Utkal University has also postponed its all exams scheduled to be held today due to the strike and heavy rain.

Meantime, Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar issued lightning, thunderstorm, & heavy rain alert for 10 districts of Odisha till 1:30 PM today.
